Cinema imposes a specific technical writing scenario as distinct from the art of writing text this is due to the specificity of each art form.Theatre in this regard requires living and direct interaction with the audience who relies on the choice of theatrical perspectives.

However, cinema depends on the picture frame in all its dimensions, sizes and angles.

Though, the aim of this study is to undertake the problem of projecting theatrical text on the big screen.

This is a achieved through: (1) the emphasis on the aesthetics of visual picture, (2) the difference between what is on stage within the available technology and what is on the big screen with its all dimensions, and (3) the written theatrical text is to be transmitted into cinematic text within the existing techniques.

The research discusses Merchant of Venice ply of William Shakespeare as a model.
