أظهرت المشاريع الخاصة بتخطيط المدن تركيزا عاليا على تخطيط الطرق باعتبارها ابرز المكونات البنيوية الحضرية الأساسية للمدينة التي تشبع احتياجات متعددة و تقوم بأداء وظائف متنوعة، فهي تربط قطاعات المدينة بعضها البعض و تعمل كمراكز للنشاط الاقتصادي و الخدمي بأنواعه، و برغم هذا التركيز العالي على توزيع فضاءات الطرق بأنماطها المتنوعة التجارية و الصناعية والسكنية، إلا أن هذا التركيز اقتصر في كثير من جوانبه على أبعاد و مقاييس المركبات المختلفة و تحقيق سهولة و انسيابية حركتها، أما حركة الإنسان و استخدامه لفضاء الطريق فقد برز كمؤشر ثانوي في عملية التخطيط و التصميم، و تناقص بشكل تدريجي مقياس الإنسان المعتمد في تصاميم أزقة المدن التقليدية.
كما ظهرت آثار أخرى تمثلت في إهمال الجوانب النفسية والاجتماعية والبيئية للإنسان ضمن فضاء الطريق.
البحث سيحاول تقديم عددا من المؤشرات التصميمية للمخططين الحضريين التي تسهم في إعادة الاهتمام بالجانب الإنساني من خلال دراسة ابرز المؤثرات النفسية و البيئية و الضوضائية التي تسهم في تحقيق البيئة المريحة للإنسان ضمن فضاء الطريق الحضري.
Abstract EN
Planning of cities show great attention on streets planning as one of the most structural component foundations for cities, that providing many functional needs and connect parts of the city each other, and work as a commercial and services activities centers.
Instead of this highly focused on distributing streets with different streets types such as economical and trading and housing streets.
This concerned was only on the dimensions and scales of different types of vehicles and their movement.
When scale and dimension and movement of mans were as a second priority in designing and planning streets.
Which came's first for traditional streets.
The research try to submit some designs guides for planners that contribute in re concerning the human environment through studying the most effective needs such as psychological and environmental and acoustical.
That achieving comfort environment for walking person inside streets.
