This research discusses finger- nails cutting from Islamic and health perspectives through defining this process, highlighting its legitimacy and wisdom as far as Islamic teachings are concerned.

The paper examines the questions of having long finger nails and the diseases that may be carried through this process.

Moreover, it discusses the chemicals put on nails.

The research highlights when and how nails are cut, buried and finger heads are cleaned.
