This study investigates the struggle of dominant powers upon natural resources in Africa, with concentration upon Chinese –American struggle on Sudanese resources.

The study starts with a brief sketch to the natural resource in Africa, followed by the American domination on Africa in the phase of the new International Order, and the American vision towards Africa after the collapse of the socialist camp and the events of 11 September 2001 .

The paper also sheds light on the Chinese interests in Africa and the inevitable struggle with the United states of America, The paper concluded with the American–Chinese struggle on the resources of Sudan .
