Abstract EN

This paper commences by defining the denotation from a linguistic and terminological point of view focusing on the semantic denotation of which is the nucleus of every linguistic study.

Furthermore, the paper explores the phenomenon of inflection which distinguishes this particular dialect from other colloquial ones.

It also tries to identify the diacritics modifications that have occurred on some lexical items.

This study is carried out in the province of Lagawa-southwest of Khartoum.
