تأثير كفاءة بعض المبيدات على حفار ساق الذرة (Lepidoptera : Noctuidae)‎ Sesamia Cretica في نبات قصب السكر صنفي CP.5268 و CO.976

Abstract EN

A Tield study was preformed on the effect and efficiency of some pesticides on corn stem borer S .

cretica on tow varieties : Cp 52/68 and Co 976 .

the resulls indicate that there are distinct differenes in their effects, and that those pest icides vary in their protection of the plant against the pest .

The results showed that using (Elkrozer ) pesticide in dusting the stem before Planting was superior and gave positive results in comparison with ( diazenon ) and it rerealed that the effect of (Elkrozer) pesticide on Co 976 in reducing the infection rate has reached 4.4% .

while it reaches 12.3% on Cp 52/68 variety on spray with Diazenon on Co 976 and on Cp 52/68 reduced the infection rate to 15.3% and 55.69% restpectedly .

Appling two sprays with the same pesticide resulted in infection of 25.98% in co –976 and 58.32% in Cp – 52/68 .

The difterences in the rate of infection are due to the resistance of the variety by acviring ammunition against the insect .
