Abstract EN

It has been witnessed the Arabic and Islamic city in both eras Omaiya and Aabasi eras advancement in knowledge and science and from it science of medicine and pharmacy.

And the Arabic medicine reached advancement and a big success at the Aabasi era and specifically in the era of Aabasi government era of Haroun Al rasheed and his son the khalifa Abdul Allah almaoun.

From that success in Medicine it has been established Albemarstan (hospitals) in the Arabic and Islamic city and it was the main purpose of it to treat the patients from difficult illness and psychological and neurological illness which has been spread in that city.

Both cities Baghdad and Damascus were the first Arabic cities that has spread in it hospitals in several neighborhoods of those cities.

Also it has been mentioned in the stories of One thousand and one night in both eras Omaiya and Aabasi the hospitals and its roles in treatment for the ill people.

Here it is my research (hospital institutions in the Arabic and Islamic old city).

To study the appearance of hospitals in the two cities Baghdad and Damascus and its appearance and its main role in the stories of One thousand and one night specifically in the stories that happened in the space of Aabasi era in time and Place.
