Abstract EN

Metaphor is considered as one of the most rhetorical performances connected with mental suggestive operations ,because metaphor depends on tow basic elements :the borrowed to and the borrowed from .

one of them is absent and the other is remained .

And this requires triggering of the mind and getting through cases of mental contemplation which are included in the webs of meanings of a text under searching to discover the rhetorical style and then identify it . Thus , the pivotal idea of this research is to shed light on metaphor as indicator for reaching at the construction of suggestive denotation in Quranic rhetorical style in specific through procedural application on selected texts as examples to proof the role of metaphor in constructing suggestive denotation .

The categories of metaphor in all its variations such as its division according to its edges or according to its pronunciation from the derivation viewpoint and others will be illustrated through application .

From this, it is not necessary for the researcher to adopt all the categories as a sample of application , rather , she feels suffice with picking up some samples to avoid excessiveness .

Finally the researcher concluded by illustrating the suggestive denotation , the manner it happens , establishing ( the problem of the researcher ) and then theorizing for it by the rhetorical metaphoric performance
