Abstract EN

This paper deals with ethics in the ethical system of the Twelvers Shiites with reference to Holy Koran and the prophetic tradition.

This is based on the fact that Ahlulbayt (the prophet’s household), peace and blessings of Allah be on them, have held the message of teaching Moslems good manners and educating them very well.

Koran has clear influence in this respect.

It has paid great attention to man, particularly the human spirit.

The aim of ethics is to discover yourself.

So, Koran intended to organize the individual’s life in away that serve both the individual and society.

Hence, it asserts moderation and equilibrium among the wishes of spirit and body without neglecting one side for the sake of another.

Accordingly, we realize the continuance and association between the Holy Koran and the righteous progeny of the prophet(peace and blessings of Allah be on them).

Their ethics and precepts are an extension to the precepts of the Holy Koran and the prophetic tradition.

Therefore, we find that Imam Hussein held his sword and fought to restore right to its position in compliance with good deeds and rejection of bad deeds, and he stressed on bringing reform.
