Abstract EN

This study aimed at exploring the level of emotional intelligence,and the effects of gender on emotional intelligence for college,s students of education – Saber – Aden university.

the sample of study consists of(374) male and female students the academic year, 2008 -2009 .

The researcher used emotional intelligence scale put by Al – Acaichi (2003), and she used a T-test for one sample and Percentage and a T-test for tow independent sample as statistics style for reaching results .the results reveal that emotional intelligence spread in the curren study sample around 16.6 % lowest level,level 63.8 % middle and 19.6% agreatest.

and the results reveal presence of statistical differences indicating the degree of emotional intelligence on pehalf of male students.
