Abstract EN

There are many questions about the legal extension of the lease contract in the Jordanian tenants and landlords law and its justice level.

This comparative study between the Islamic fiqh and the tenants and landlords law becomes to answer the questions by the definition of the extension of the lease contract, the sphere of its validity, the nature of the extension and its justifications and termination of extension of the lease contract.

The study reaches to the legality of the extension of the lease contract in the Islamic fiqh according to the necessity of the same rental and the termination of the necessity, in contrast of the tenants and landlords law which restricted the landlords right in his possession and aligned to the tenant’s advantage.
