Plant tissue culture is considered an important and new biotechnology, which has been introduced in agriculture fields in several countries in the world for both aspects; as research field and economical field, Therefore the plant micropropagation in wide use commercially has been more applicated this technology This study shows and discusses all the aspects that have been used in plant tissue culture in research and economical fields.

Also it illustrated the technical methods that have been followed to achieve its aims. On the other hand, this study discusses the possibility of utilizing this new technology under the condition of Yemen. The study emphasizes the necessary of laboratories establishment for plant tissue culture in all yemeni universities as well as in yemeni research centres. This study is very important to achieve more developed scientific researches and to get more advanced in the methods of multiplication and plant breeding and also to develop the agriculture sector in our country.
