Abstract EN

This study deals with one of the Arabic language phenomena which is ( the common verbal ) this phenomenon was dealt with largely in (Ibn – ul – Sikkait's) book called (utterance correction ) where we studied this phenomenon in this book because it is one of the most important phenomena in the guidance studies due to its participation in the guidance relationships.

It means that the utter ( word ) may have two or more meanings.

we had also mentioned briefly (Ibn – ul –Sikkait's life ) and a definition of his book and the different linguistic phenomena that this book had dealt with.

but we mainly concentrate on the common utterance where we found many utterances that Ibn – ul –Sikkait mentioned and explained their different meanings.

then we divided those meanings according to the common utterences into several parts.

part one: utterances with two meanings.

part two: those with three meanings.

part three: those with four meanings.

part four: those with five meanings.

part five: with more than five meanings.

at the end of this study.

we reached to some other points which are regarded … the summery of it.
