IIn this paper, the classification of the (k,3)-arcs in PG (2,8) with respect to type of their lines has been obtained as well as the group of projectivities of the projectively distinct (k, 3)- arcs are found.
Furthermore all the complete (k,3)-arcs in PG (2,8) are investigated, also it was shown that PG (2,8) has no maximum arc.
