درس تأثير مستخلص الثوم Allium sativum L.
المائي و الكحولي و كذلك العصير الطازج و محلول الباودر على ست عزلات سريرية من الجرثومة الحلزونية Helicobacter pylori و قد أبدت جميع المستخلصات تأثيرا تثبيطيا واضحا ضد معظم العزلات عند التركيز (400) ملغم / مل و كان العصير الطازج قد سجل أعلى تثبيط من بقية المستخلصات إذ بلغ قطر منطقة التثببيط (35) ملم في حين كان قطر منطقة التثبيط للمستخلص المائي (26) ملم أعلى قليلا من المستخلص الكحولي أما التركيز المثبط الأدنى MIC فقد تراوح بين (150-350) ملغم / مل كما أظهرت الدراسة بأن تأثير مستخلصات الثوم المائي و الكحولي كان مقاربا لتأثير المضادات الحيوية و أعلى في العصير الطازج و بذلك فإن هذه الدراسة قد أظهرت أنه بالإمكان استخدام مستخلصات الثوم كبدائل دوائية منخفضة الكلفة و خالية من التأثيرات الجانبية بدلا من المضادات الحيوية ذات التأثيرات الجانبية و ذلك بعد إجراء الدراسات السريرية تفصيليا.
Abstract EN
In this study, the antimicrobial effect of aqueous, alcoholic extract, fresh juice and powder solution were assayed against six isolates of Helicobacter pylori.
All the extracts gave activity against the tested isolates under concentration 400 mg/ml.
An aqueous extract gave activity higher than alcoholic extract while the fresh juice gave the highest effect on the tested isolates.
The MIC value was determinate by the range from (150 - 350 ) mg/ml.
Also the sensitivity was tested toward a number of common antibiotics, the results showed that the garlic extracts have activity near to antibiotics.
