This research emphasizes that oil today has an impact on interational politics.

The continuation of the developed world dependence on oil and the entrance of new consumers in the world oil market increased the international competition on oil.

These states bagan competing not for military controling oil regions but but for the protection of oil supply routes, diversification of oil import sources, supporting its navy , relying on trusted allies and adaption of oil strategic storage.

The United States no longer dependent on oil supplies from the Arab Gulf but from Africa, Latin America and Canada which became competition areas of investment among U.S.A.

,China, India, and other new consumers.
