يناقش هذا البحث الآراء المختلفة للعلماء حول تحديد بداية تاريخ إصدار المسكوكات النبطية المغلفة (1)، و أول من قام بضربها، و فترة استمرار إصدارها.
و قد أمكن الوصول إلى النتيجة من دليل تم استخلاصه من حفريات موقع تل بئر السبع ؛ يؤيد رأي روبنسون الذي كان قد اقترح أن تنسب المسكوكات المغلفة إلى الحارث الثاني (96-110 / 120 ق.
م).
Abstract EN
This research paper discusses different viewpoints of various sehoJars with respect to pinpointing the exact date of issuing the anonymous Nabataean coin, and the first l'uler who ordered the issue of such type of coin and its duration- Based on some £ndings induced from the excavations at TelJ Beer-Sheba and after investigating the various views in this regard, I have concluded that Robinson’s view concerning attributing those coins to Aretas II (120/110-96 B.C) seems to be the most convincing one .
