Abstract EN

This paper studies two dirhams minted under the reign of Aragun, Ilkhanid Mongol Sultan mongol.

The significance of the study lies in the following: 1.

The study shows that there were two new minting houses: asfarin, which the previous studies didn't show that it was used for minting coins by Aragun, and khabushan, a minting house which had not appeared before the date of the two dirhams.

The study also highlights the political problems and their effect on minting coins, as these two dirhams demonstrate the lack of adherence to the weight and specific diameter and parts of these dirhams have worn out, which makes it difficult to determine the exact minting date.

There appeared two types of writing: the uygur and Arabic script while Arabic written in different models.
