Computers have been revolutionary changes in all areas of life, and traditional libraries have moved to the concept of digital libraries that have made the acquisition of knowledge more efficient and organized, and must continue to digital library more than the form of a central organizer of information, and represent the essence of communication, which was in main aspect of the interaction and faceto- face between the users in traditional libraries.

Digital libraries is characterized by easily access to the information required at any time, but flawed by the inefficiency of the search, as they do not provide meaningful data to the user as a result of his inquiry, and often is access to specific information reserved copyright; and the data is fixed, and then users can not share their views or experiences. This was followed by the emergence of the digital library with the spread of technology of Web second generation and emergence of digital semantic libraries, so as to allow searching in a more direct and meaningful way, where to allow users access to the information required in respect of something without the availability of the accurate search term.

This integrated model of information support different data descriptors that provide more meaningful data, and these libraries tend to provide a better, more convenient to browse the interfaces. So the semantic digital libraries make it easy to find the information in this sea of data available, and this is thanks to the availability of research-based ontology; and that isn’t limited to one digital library, but rather provide a mechanism to move from systems of different libraries.

Sometimes We find that it is necessary to convert existing metadata of digital libraries to the semantic level, and digital libraries and government agencies may not retain their own metadata.

So there are many systems of semantic digital libraries which is trying to develop the integration of metadata and services to increase access to, and encourage cooperative activities, participation of users, and the exchange of information.
