Abstract EN

This research discusses a set of the narratives which have been narrated by Neftawih who is Ibrahim bin Mohammed bin Arrefah bin Alazdy. The researcher collected these narratives from different sources concluded the books of Language, interpretation, and dictionaries.

These narratives, which account one hundred and forty nine, have been classified according to the alphabetical order.

Their value has emerged as historical texts from the era of eloquence which have been saved by Neftawih and booked by the books of language and others. Neftawih had valuable and sounded views in the field of language which revealed the independence of his character.

He was pure, good-sit, a man of generosity, and honest in all of his narratives.

He memorized the holy Quran and the biography and morality of the scientists.

He used to narrate the anecdotes, language, Hadith, and the people days.

He memorized the languages, the meanings of poetry, and the standards of grammar as well as he denied the derivation in the language.

Neftawih was one of those who memorized the antitheses of Gareer and Farazdak in addition to the poetry of Thi-Alremah.

Neftawih was a poet whose school of grammar represented the mix of Kofi and Basery grammatical schools; however, his school of Islamic law was the school of Aldhahiriah.

Finally, he was a scientist in the school of Dawod Aldhahiry.
