Abstract EN

The study aims at investigating the role of civil society organizations in developing the Jordanian society represented by public sector organization such as The Ministry of Planning and International Cooperation, Jordan Telecom from the private sector organization and Jordanian Women Union from the social sector.

The study consisted of 101 cases and concluded that the development of social sector is significantly different than other sector within the organizations of the local society of Jordan.

There was also significant difference (α ≤ 0.05) between the different aspects of the civil society organizations in developing the local community however; there was no significant difference between the organizations in developing the local community within the civil society.

The differences stem from the social and economical aspects of the local society organizations as they form the largest potential due to the fact that they are highly interrelated to the affairs of the Jordanian citizens.
