تم خلال الدراسة الحالية فحص 21 نقدا قنفذا طويل الإذن Hemiechinus auritus للمدة من أيلول 2009-نيسان 2010 و قد ظهر إنها جميعا (100 %) كانت مصابة بنوع أو أكثر من الديدان.
أظهرت الدراسة إصابة القنفذ طويل الإذن بستة أنواع من الديدان الطفيلية منها نوع واحد من الديدان الشرطية Mathevotaenia erinacei و شوكيه الرأس Monilliforms Monilliforms و أربعة أنواع من الديدان الخيطية هي :- Physaloptera.
Sp., , Capillaria erinacei, Pterygodermatites plagiostoma و ديدان الرئة Crenosoma striatum و بنسبة إصابة بلغت % 4.76 ; % 4.76 ; % 4.76; % 33.33 ; % 19.04 ; % 57.14 على التوالي. ظهر أيضا إن أعلى نسبة للإصابة بالديدان كانت النوع (% 57.14) M.
erinacei في حين أقل نسبة كانت الإصابة بالديدان Capillaria erinacei و Crenosoma striatum و % 4.76 ; % 4.76 ; % 4.76 Physaloptera.
Sp على التوالي. و أخيرا يعد تسجيل الطفيليات Crenosoma striatum و Capillaria erinacei هو أول تسجيل لها في القنفذ طويل الإذن كمضيف وسطي و نهائي في العراق.
Abstract EN
In this study we examined 21 samples of hedgehogs Hemiechinus auritus we found all of hedgehogs(100%) are infected with one or more of helminthes.
The study appeared that hedgehogs Hemiechinus auritus are infected with six types of helminthes these are: Mathevotaenia erinacei, Monilliforms monilliforms Pterygodermatites, plagiostoma, Capillaria erinacei, physaloptera.
