The research dealt with the study of Al –Hira kingdom from the political and cultural aspects This study presents an image to the relationship between what is real and what is imaginative in the creative work represented in "Novel" in general and the 'novel' of trip in particular.

To achieve its main topic, the study relies on the 'trip' of Ahmad bin fadhlan, and The Trip of Ibin fattomah for Najip mahfud.

the research pursues the crossing found in the external and internal structures of both novels.

The main of conclusion of this study is that such a type of literature crosses in so many points that reflect the depth of the relationship between the two forms of creation taking into consideration the image of Najip Mahfud's novelistic creation form the one hand, and reality of Ibin Fadhlan's image of trip on the other hand.
