Abstract EN

Cotton crops is considered one of the most important exporting crops, which is necessary for hard currency rather than, Egypt has proportion merit in its public production.

The matter which requires the necessity coring for the studying of exporting Egyptian cotton in various markets of the countries which importing it.

Cotton exports contribute by about 4.21, 26.54% percent from the total of Egyptian national and agricultural exports within 1990-2005.

The problem of search restricts in the unusual amont and value of the Egyptian exports of cotton, besides what it faces a hard competition in its traditional markets, which may inference.

On the existence of Egyptian cotton in these markets, and its uncapability of openning new markets.

This research aims at knowing the present geographical distribution map of Egyptian cotton exports for different foreign markets for the reason of knowing the most important markets, and repeat the distribution of these exports by putting other modes to a chiere the maximum exporting revenue and compare between the present mode and the other suggesting exchanges, and the line programming mode was chasen and the duration (2004-2006).

The most important sesuits were: 1- by the studying of development of amount of Egyptian exportant seems that it is increasing by high rate about 9.425 ton, it can be about 81.66% of the general rate for the amount of the cotton exports within the duration (1990-2005).

Also it seems that the value of cotton exports increasing by counting rate reached to 2633.4 million pound which can be 13.33% of the general rate of the value of cotton exports within the duration of studying, in the same time we find that the prices of exporting cotton were deceasing by rate about 36.537 pound/ ton, and there is no meaningful reason for this change.

2- by the studying of geographical distribution for cotton exports in Egypt within the duration (2004-2006), it seems that Egypt cotton exports reached to about 125.314 thousand ton, which have the total value of about 272887.0 thousand dollar, and the most important countries that imports Egyptian cotton are, India, Bakstan, Italy, Korea, United States of America, Turkey, Japan and finally Thailand, import about 105.179 thousand ton of the Egyptian cotton which can be 83.9% of the amount of cotton exports within this duration, and its total value was about 224.335 Million dollar which can be 82.2% of the total amount of Egyptian cotton exports during the same duration.

3- The study showed also by using line program style that it is easy to increase the total of Egyptian cotton exports more than the present distribution, according to the fifth, fourth, third and first modes by about 41740.4, 23638.8, 5392.6, 1362.0 thou and dollar which can be 15.3%, 1.9%, 0.5% of the value of exports in the present distribution.

4- And finally the study recommended the following: 1- The important of caring of markets which can be the main markets, for Egyptian cotton are India, Bakstan, Italy, Korea, United States of America, Turkey, Japan and Thailand.

2- Tending to the markets of countries which can be new markets for Egyptian cotton exports like South Africa, Phlipin, and Switzerland.

3- The studying of the foreign markets, and the prices of exporting for it leads easily to open new markets for the Egyptian cotton exports.
