Abstract EN

This is a documental, educational and fundamenta study that refers to the beginnings of the 19 th Century.

It includes the endowment of the library of Yafa Grand mosque in Palistine that was established by the leader Muhammed Agha Sammmour named (Abu Nabut) which flourished over his rule at the Palestinian coast.

The Study also tackled the establishment of the library of Yafa Grand Mosque and its environment.

Further, and in an attempt to get acquainted with the origins of the books that were in the library and the school of the author, the study attempted to investigate the groups of books available there.

In addition, there was a concern for the way libraies were arranged at that time with documental information about the job description for people working there and their salaries.

The study ends with the factors that contributed to its end and disappearance.
