Nabil Kadhim Al-Jobori Due to the key and vital role of physical measurements , physical and skill abilities of the scientific and sound preparation of the future volleyball game , thus the research problem is reflected in the absence of a particular model to select the best young players to represent their clubs and countries.

This model is considered as the most optimal , appropriate and overarching indicator for the selection of youth through the appropriate physical measurements and physical skills to exercise this game and to achieve best results.

The research is aiming at : - 1 – Establish a standard measure for physical measurements , physical abilities and skills for advanced volley ball players in Middle Euphrates clubs .

2 – Apply this measurement on all volleyball young players in the Middle Euphrates clubs.

3 - Select volleyball young players and distinguished ones to represent their teams.

The researchers have used a descriptive method with surveys, associative and normative study styles , to achieve the goals of the research and determine the research community of advanced and young players of first and supper clubs in the middle Euphrates (Babylon, Karbala, Qadisiyah, Najaf), amounted at (314) players .

A random sample of (254) player were selected , the new measure have been conducted on 150 advanced players, and 104 young players are used as a set standard for the new measurement.

Based on the results the researchers have reached to the following conclusions :- 1 - The factor process analysis singled out the acceptance of two factors of the smash throw , out of Four factors ,and the acceptance of the preparation and sweeper, out of three factors.

2 - The researchers were able to determine the positions of the players among their Peers through the use of the percentile rank equation, as this equation gives a clear and honest image about the order for an individual in relation to the members of the group.
