Abstract AR
Abstract EN
The arrival of the Greekian to Libya was merged with legends as was the existence of Greek woman on the Libyan coast for the first time.
This was also mixed with the legend of the Greekician god "Apollo" with the mermaid "Kereny" whom he saw for the first time in the Greek Tsaliya forests and flew her off to Libya where he married her, opening up the road to the existence of Phoenicians on Libyan lands as if preparing an early alibi for the expected colonization.
Even in the history written by Hirodots stating that in the era of Patos, who ruled for 40 years, followed by his son who rules for 16 years, it was clear that the population did not experience any noticeable increase in numbers.
This face makes it hard for us to ignore the notes of the French writer "Francois Shamo" when he dismissed any chance of a small population building such huge buildings in Kereny city as Temples for Apollo in Libya.
The logical explanation behind this great architectural achievement is that more immigrants started arriving to the colony, which suggests the arrival of Kereny women to the colony or the marriage of Phoenicians to Libyan women; a fact that is stated in various classical Greekian stories resulting in the creation of new families of pure Greekians and others of a Greekian and Libyan marriages Therefore, we are facing an identity issue of which the Libyan woman and her children have suffered from in the region.
Although she was "Greekianized" and lived as her fellow Greekians under the same circumstances and performed the same rituals and religious practices, yet she remained the prisoner of being a second degree citizen regardless of her pre-existence and presence in the early stages of establishment
