Abstract EN

Ibrahim Bin Nassif Bin Abdullah Bin Jibelat is Lebanese linguist, writer and critic.

He has many linguistic and literary publications.

He is the first who updated the linguistic criticism in renaissance age he wrote studies and essays attacking the mistakes and errors that were dominated the newspapers and books as well as some lexicons.

He published most of his opinions in Dhiaa and Bayan magazines.

Some of his opinions were collected in a small book named (Newspapers Language) .

his opinions in this book wasn't contain all of his opinions and named so because the language of the newspapers were most populated than books and were spoken by people tongue.

Al- Yazeji followed stringent syllabus in linguistic correction.

He traced the ancient people and conducted many essays in this issue under title (Arab Mistakes as was traced by Bin Jiny and Seotee and others).

He considered their mistakes as mistake in derivation and stem of the words.

He announced that that Arab had no grammar to review and correct their mistakes.

He considered the mistakes the Generator scholars as linguistic odds like (Al-Muhja Al-Wadhiha la Yadhil Salikha), thus he thought that to know the odds is most important than knowing the derivation and relativity.

We find him clarify the linguistic mistakes of some specialists in Linguistic Correction such as Al Hariry in his assonance tales and others; yet I found that he may defend some people such as Al- Mutanaby and his questions about the odds when he got out of the elegant language.

Al-Yazeji considered linguistic mistakes of the most farfetched mistakes and the most populated and realization.

The grammar had famous derivations which was hard to be realized because of the weakness, thus he considered linguistic mistakes of most distorted in spelling in analysis; yet, his corrections were general in all linguistic levels.

He was celebrated in grammar and care for the derivation and hearing altogether.

Despite he wasn't Muslim yet he cared for the Holly Quran and Prophet Speeches in his corrections.

The path of Al- Yazeji in the stringent syllabus made him encountered by the criticism by some of his contemporary thinkers such the Father Instance Keramly and Mohammed Salem Al- Jundy and Mohammed N|Bahajat Al- Athary and Abdul Rahman Salam Al- Beiruti and Mustafa Jawad and others.

Despite myriad critics directed to him, yet we find his corrections reused by most modern linguists.
