Semantics has a distinguished place in the linguistic studies.

This research tackles an important field, that is the correlation between the word and its meanings.

When I was investigating the different probabilities of meaning in the words of Quran, I chose this subject because these two utterances(kin and family) have dignified meanings and great significance.

I have been adhering to studying the Quran verses to show their treasures, secrets, significance, meanings and suggestions.

The method of the research is to follow up the verses related to the subject and distribute them according to their meanings, then this stuff is scientifically analyzed to show their rhetoric, oddness, aspects, analogues, association and linguistic differences.

It becomes apparent that 'kin and family' are semantically so related to each other, but the Quran variegates their usage so their correlation is based on social and logical bases.

The research also shows that there is an inclusion relation between the two words for the word 'family' is wider because it is annexed to concrete and abstract words.

The research differentiates the words 'kin and family' from other words.
