يلاحظ المتأمل لواقع العمارة العربية المعاصرة بصورة خاصة، غياب قواعد منهجية التفكير المنظمة، أنها غدت نظريا و عمليا مسرحا لخليط غير متجانس من التصورات و الرؤى "الفردية" الناتجة من الحالة الفكرية و الثقافية و الاجتماعية السائدة.
و بملاحظة واقع التعليم المعماري و الأكاديمي بصورة عامة، تتبدى ضرورة مراجعة منهجية شاملة على مستوى الأسس و القواعد.
و من هنا جاءت فكرة البحث.
من خلال إشكالية تتلخص بــ (تنمية مهارات التفكير الإبداعي لدى طلاب العمارة باستخدام برنامج كورت) تتلخص أهداف البحث بالكشف عن أثر برنامج كورت في تنمية مهارات التفكير الإبداعي لدى طلاب العمارة، و إثارة الاهتمام ببرامج التفكير و أهمية توظيفها لدى أساتذة أقسام الهندسة المعمارية.
تكونت عينة الدراسة من (72) طالب عمارة في الجامعة التكنولوجية في الفصل الأول من العام الدراسي (2009-2010) موزعين على مجموعتين، المجموعة التجريبية (37) طالب و المجموعة الضابطة (35) طالب و استخدم اختبار تورنس للتفكير الإبداعي لقياس درجة تنمية مهارات التفكير الإبداعي أظهرت النتائج وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية (∞ ≤ 0.55) في تنمية مهارات التفكير الإبداعي على درجة الاختبارات لبرنامج كورت.
يوصي البحث بالاهتمام "تعليم التفكير المبدع" و المتمثل بتطوير أحد البرامج المعتمدة عالميا إضافة إلى إعداد كوادر مؤهلة و تضمين الخطة الدراسية الجامعية مادة خاصة بذلك.

Meditator notes the reality of contemporary Arab architecture in general and Iraq in particular, the absence of systematic rules of the Organization, it has become theoretically and practically the scene of a mixture of perceptions and visions of "individual" case resulting from the intellectual, cultural and social conditions.
The observation of the reality of architectural education and academic in general, manifested the need to review a comprehensive methodology at the level of principles and rules.
So the idea of the research problem, which is summarized (the development of creative thinking skills among students in architecture using CORT) The aims of the research can be intensified through the provision of a methodology based on qualitative intermingling between planting principles and foundations of independent thinking in logical stages generation and configuration with space to allow a logical dialogue and free thinking.
This is exemplified by using "Court" adopted and applied universally to increase the area of two groups thinking of expanding the field of cognition and interaction in the development of creative thinking skills among students of architecture.
