Abstract EN

Al Rumanj is considered to be one of the encyclopedic scientists.

He is one of the pioneers in linguistic, grammar, literature, Quran sciences, interpretation, theology, logic, philosophy, and astronomy.

He has a great influence on those who followed his line through the great writings he achieved in these fields.

One of the fields that he was excellent in is Rhetoric and its three main types: Lexicology, Rhetoric, and Eloquence, tie exposed his ideologies in Rhetoric in his study “Witticism in Quran inimitability".

AI Rumani is one of the founders of Rhetoric since Rhetoric at his time started to move gradually towards specifying the concepts.

The source of this foundation stems purely from Arab culture and we should praise this man for that he is influenced by the western culture because he lived the time when his cutturc was mixed with other cultures and not from his own part, What has come in his writings revealed his progress and advancement in science fields In this study we try, as much as possible, to avoid approaching the Quran Rhetoric and its interpretation which Al Rumani tried to prove in interpreting the Quran inimitability in his study.

This is due to the tact that the mixture of Quran Rhetoric and Arab Rhetoric was not a haphazard or a for granted issue to Al Rumani but it was a very clear and complete concept that he did his best to prove and apply in his study.

In addition, he talked about Arab Rhetoric which is a merit for Arab speech.

By doing so, he tried to stand on the Quran inimitability.

He also tried to draw the general lines of Arab Rhetoric which has been followed later in most of the clues mentioned in his study.

Consequently, our study is confined to the achievements and eloquent efforts of Al Rumani regarding Arab Rhetoric by studying .

analyzing or categorizing the Rhetoric phenomena to prepare for or develop a concept in its three main types since studying Quran Rhetoric and its concept is one of the topics that has been studied thoroughly.
