Abstract EN

The researcher aims to study the experiments of some mass communication departments and colleges in the Arab countries in the pedagogical ofthe journalistic genres in terms of content, span of time, and teaching methods.Based on the above, the researcher tries to identify certain parameters at the college level.

For example, there is a need for examining the journalistic genres in the curriculum plans.

Also, there is a need for figuring out the epistemological boundaries in the educational process and how this relates to the new changes in the field of mass media studies.

Other areas of investigation include the identity of the contemporary journalist, interactivity, and the changing nature and structure of the journalistic text..Even though many of the media schools and departments try their best to supply the market with well-trained media personnel, they still face many obstacles.

First, there is no mutual cooperation between scholars of communication and media studies, on the one hand, and professional media personnel, on the other hand, in educating journalists.

Second, many of the schools and departments of media studies do not offer innovative courses that meet the requirements of new media organizations in the Arab World.Thus, the researcher demonstrates that the teaching of journalistic genres has become a technical issue that benefits neither the scientific contributions of sociology and semiotics of mass media or the philosophy of communication in the age of social networks.
