Abstract EN

This research dealt with the means of documenting loans in Islamic juris-rudence.

The researcher in the first section defined the loan linguistically and idiomatically, and talked about the evidence of its legitimacy, and the wisdom of its legislation.

In the second section, the researcher showed the means of documenting the loan in Islamic jurisprudence, which can be documented in writing, witnessing, mortgage, and warranty (guarantee).

In the third section, the researcher showed a number of contemporary models for documenting the loan which are, documentation by a letter of credit, documentary credit, and documenting the loan by insurance.

Fina ly, the conclusion which included the most important results and recom-medationss are presented.
