Abstract EN

We thank Allah, seek help and forgiveness from him, and seek guard from our vices and errors.

He who is guided by Allah shall never be deluded.

I bear witness that Muhammed is the prophet of Allah.

“Oh you who believe! Fear Allah (by doing all that He has ordered and by abstaining from all that He has forbidden) as He should be feared.

[Obey Him, be thankful to Him, and remember Him always], and die not except in a state of Islam [as Muslims (with complete submission to Allah)].” Al-Imran (102).

“O mankind! Be careful of your duty to your Lord Who created you from a single soul and from it created its mate and from them twain hath spread abroad a multitude of men and women.

Be careful of your duty toward Allah in Whom ye claim (your rights) of one another, and toward the wombs (that bare you).

Lo! Allah hath been a watcher over you.” Al- Nisaa’ (1).

“O ye who believe! Guard your duty to Allah, and speak words straight to the point; (70) He will adjust your works for you and will forgive you your sins.

Whosoever obeyeth Allah and His messenger, he verily hath gained a signal victory.

(71)” Al- Ahzab.

The problem theft poses is its threat to the future of children.

And since some of those children are potential leaders and bearers of grave responsibility, their future is the future of the whole nation.

Destructive habits such as theft give birth to irresponsible individuals willing to put their fancies first, disregarding the welfare of the nation.

As fathers, those individuals lack the characteristics of role models, thus casting a negative influence on their offspring, being unworthy of parenthood.

Even as teachers, those individuals encourage bad behavior In addition, theft might transform children into aggressive, apathetic beings; rebels against values and ethics, who are unwilling to learn.

Believing in virtue and value and recognizing the effect theft poses on society, I wanted to study this destructive phenomenon, shedding light on its causes, and proposing solutions.

In depicting and analyzing the phenomenon, we will rely mostly on the aspect of Islamic education and Da’wa, and occasionally on psychological studies, which lack the religious side.

Islam focuses on values, virtues, justice, truth, good and beauty.

Those factors are the pillars that make any didactic message effective and successful.

Islam, also, presents the problem as well as its solutions in a spiritual frame, that cleanses society from all vices and errors, and grants spiritual transcendence, and that of faith.

These features of Islam form righteous individuals who are active in shaping society according to the Holy Quran and the Sunnah.
