Abstract EN

The legal system of the limited partnership by shares under the Jordanian Corporate Law suffers from many aspects of weakness which leads to a considerable decline in the establishment of such a company to the extent that it only exists in theory rather than in practice.

Therefore, this study aims to explore the underlying reasons for the failure of the limited partnership by shares especially those pertaining to the legal position of partners, the establishment, and administration of this company.

Furthermore, this study determines what the law ought to be in order to attract investors to this company and strike a balance between the different interests of the partners involved.

As such, this study is divided into two main sections and a conclusion.

The first section deals with the establishment of limited partnership by shares, while the second section sheds light on the administration of this company and the legal control on its actions.

Finally, the conclusion focuses on the main results and recommendations
