No sooner had the discussion about the school standards in Algeria ceased that new waves of criticisms began to arise.

Some researchers see that the educational standards of the Algerian school are very low; others, however, argue that they are quite acceptable.

This article, which is based on academic views and statistics, attempts to provide an analytical study of the school standards in Algeria and to draw a conclusion that describes and explains this issue The Algerian school possesses human and material resources capable of providing high educational returns in various specializations, and it is not out of its reach to achieve moreenthusiastic goals.

The results of the study show that the school failure is an aspect that may affect all educational systems in the world, and Algerian is a case in point, where the issue may be highlighted from the conditions of the school itself and from the different developments of the Algerian society as a whole
