Abstract EN

This study treats the impact of the students of Shendi Uni-rsity on the commercial activity in Shendi, It is prefaced by an troduction about the progression of the high education in Sun and the increasing of the students numbers in the Univer-y.

In order to measure this impact, the study adopts a ques-nnaire distributed to different sects of the economic activities the town.

The questionnaire reflects some issues related to the com-ercial activity according to the origin of the merchant, the irting date and the place of the commercial activity, method of lling, the impact of the University vacation on the process of lling, high times of trading ..

etc.

The study came to some results like: -Some sectors, like the cafeterias, the transports, canteens, are more affected by the University vacation.

-The high cost of the shops rents.

-The imbalanced distribution of firms causes problems in shopping.

-The establishing of some cafeterias in the domiciles causes a lot of negative effects.
