Abstract EN

The study tried to recognize the role of mosulian families to orient their children to follow a culture that suits the arabic and islamic community and rejects other forms of foreign cultures.

The present study explore the opinion of mosulian families of how to deal with concepts concerning cultural transportation, methods of education , the personal role of parents in educating their children, the sex discrimination among members of the family , the religious principals and the political orientation.

The study reached a conclusion that the role of msulian families in cultural development is positive, with the exception of their negative role in political affairs.
