The Political reform cause in Arab states represents specially after 11, September 2001, an essential side for politicians in Arab states.

The American pressures & emerged on these states to do such political reforms within ruling regimes.

But, that does not mean that most of Arab states carried out reforms under American pressures.

There are many Arab states made political reforms as for internal pressures by public opinion or by opposing parties.

Syria conducted political reforms as president Bashar Al–Assad demand to change the government attitudes and policies to make Syria a scientific and progressive state.
