تأسست دار المعلمين العالية سنة 1923 و كانت الدراسة أول الأمر مسائية حتى سنة 1927 ..
و قد تعرضت الدار للإلغاء سنة 1931 لكنها أعيدت سنة 1935 و أصبحت مدة الدراسة فيها 4 سنوات يمنح الطالب في نهايتها شهادة الليسانس في الآداب أو العلوم أو التربية و قد ارتبط إلغاءها بخوف السلطات الحاكمة من ممارسة و نشاطاتها و خريجيها و أثرها في المجتمع منذ تأسيسها و حتى سنة 1958 حتى تغير اسمها إلى كلية التربية.
Abstract EN
The Supreme Teachers Institute has been established in 1923 and at the beginning it gave evening study till 1927.
This institute has been abolished in 1931 but it returned in 1935 and the period of study has become four years to give the students B.A.
degree in arts, or science or education.
The reason of its abolition was the fear of the ruling authorities from practicing political activities.
The paper is an attempt to document the history of Supreme Teachers Institute, its activities and its effect upon society since its establishment till 1958 in which its name has been changed into College of Education.
