Abstract EN

The research was conducted in a private greenhouse located Al-Suwayra during season 2011 to evaluate the effect of spraying the solution (extract of sea algae with nutrients) Algaton in the rooting characteristics and behavior of vegetative growth and flowering of Geranium plant (pelargonium grandiflorum L.).

Plant were sprayed with four concentration , three times a month and the difference between the spray and the other followed.

Using C.R.D.

design with 4 replicates.

Results showed that spraying plants with extract nutrients at 3 ml/L gave a significant increase in the characters of (the number of roots , roots length , plant height , leaves number , leaf area , vegetative branches number , flowers numbers and a long of carrying flowering and , diameter of Florence's) , while there were not significant different in (the Florence's number) , The plants were control treatment given less rates for all studied characters expect number of roots.
