Abstract EN

Natural stones at Tel AN-NASR archaeological site and neighborhood area has been studied to explain its importance on ancient human’s life style and the source of these stones.

Natural stones at this site are: large blocks of whitish sandstone coated by desert varnish, well bedded carbonate rocks, basaltic and cherty stones tools.

These rocks exploited by ancient human during his daily life when he settled here many historical periods.

This site became a passage of ascending caravans from the Arabian Peninsula to the Fertile Crescent and vice versa.
