Abstract EN

Maps of distribution occupy a paramount position in Chartology for their wide and precise capabilities of presentation,an a lysis, interpretation and data processing.

Maps of population distribution is often considered as an important phenomenon that objective maps tackle.

This study aims at selecting a suitable design for distribution maps of Qatar population , and filling them with data available out of last ccsus by choosing cither one variables like age structure, or more than three variables like those who woke in establishments.

The study also aims at selecting a suitable method for filling and analyzing these maps and classifying results giving justifications for geographical phenomenon.

This study concludes that statistic classifications is week according to the nine municipalities of Qatar, and that three quarters of population concentrate in two cities only.

It is also observed that sex percentage rises in the middle and southern parts of Qatar, and that the method of presentation seems of low importance in distribution maps in case of discussing Qatari people, while importance rises when discussing both Qatari and non-Qatari population,
