في هذا البحث تعريف بأحد الأعراب الفصحاء المتقدمين، الذين سمع منهم العلماء و أخذوا عنهم، و كان لهم فضل الريادة و المشاركة في رواية اللغة، و هذا الأعرابي هو (أبو ليلى)، رويت عنه نصوص كثيرة في عدد من المصادر اللغوية، و منها كتاب (العين) للخليل بن أحمد الفراهيدي (ت 175 هــ).
و يشتمل البحث على مقدمة و مبحثين، ضم الأول تعريفا بــ (أبي ليلى) و بمروياته اللغوية في كتاب (العين)، و ضم الثاني نصوص مروياته اللغوية موثقة و مرتبة على وفق ترتيب موادها على حروف المعجم.
و يرد في أسفل صفحات البحث كشاف مسلسل بالهوامش و التعليقات، و بالمصادر و المراجع المعتمدة فيه.
Abstract EN
Abu Layla is one of the old linguists who contributed greatly in linguistics.
Some of his narrations were found in some references especially in dictionaries such (Al–Ayn) which was written by AL–Khalil Ibn Ahmad AL–Fraheedi (died 175 A.
H).
The present research is of an introduction and two parts.
Part one includes an autobiography of Abu Layla as well as a study of his narrations in (Al–Ayn).
Part two includes the texts which are classified alphabetically.
