استهدف البحث الحالي الإجابة عن الأسئلة التالية : 1.
ما مستوى استيعاب طلبة قسم الجغرافيا–كلية التربية للمفاهيم الجغرافية ؟ 2.
ما مستوى دافعية التعلم لدى طلبة قسم الجغرافيا–كلية التربية ؟ 3.
هل هناك علاقة ذات دلالة إحصائية بين مدى استيعاب طلبة قسم الجغرافيا–كلية التربية للمفاهيم الجغرافية و دافعيتهم لتعلمها ؟ 4.
هل هناك فرق ذو دلالة إحصائية بين علاقة استيعاب طلبة قسم الجغرافيا–كلية التربية للمفاهيم الجغرافية و دافعيتهم لتعلمها تبعا لمتغير الصف (أول، ثالث) ؟ تكونت عينة البحث من (145) طالبا و طالبة من طلبة قسم الجغرافيا للعام الدراسي 2005-2006.
و لتحقيق أهداف البحث أعدت الباحثة أداتين الأولى اختبار للمفاهيم الجغرافية و بواقع (30) سؤالا من نوع الاختيار من متعدد و لكل سؤال أربعة بدائل، و قد تم التأكد من صدقه و ثباته.
كما أعدت الباحثة مقياسا لدافعية التعلم يضم (32) فقرة (17) فقرة إيجابية و (15) فقرة سلبية و تأكدت من صدقه و ثباته.
و بعد تحليل البيانات و معالجتها إحصائيا أظهرت النتائج ما يأتي : 1.
إن مستوى استيعاب طلبة قسم الجغرافية للمفاهيم الجغرافية بلغ تقديره متوسطا.
2.
إن مستوى دافعية التعلم لدى طلبة قسم الجغرافية–كلية التربية بلغ تقديره جيدا.
3.
وجود علاقة دالة إحصائيا بين مدى استيعاب الطلبة للمفاهيم الجغرافية و بين دافعيتهم لتعلمها.
4.
وجود فرق ذو دلالة إحصائية بين علاقة استيعاب طلبة قسم الجغرافية–كلية التربية للمفاهيم الجغرافية و دافعيتهم للتعلم تبعا لمتغير الصف (أول، ثالث) و لصالح الصف الثالث.
و بناء عليه قدمت الباحثة عددا من التوصيات و اقترحت دراسات مكملة للبحث الحالي.
English Abstract
The study aimed to answer the following questions 1.
What is the level of comprehension of the College of Education / Department of Geography students for geographic concepts ? 2.
What is the level of motivation of learning of the Department of Geography students in this college ? 3.
Does a significant statistical relationship exist between the rate of comprehension and the motivation of learning.
4.
Does a statistical significant differences exists between the rate of comprehension for geographic concepts and the motivation of learning for the College of Education / Department of Geography students according to the variable of grade (fist class, third class) ? The population sample consisted of (145) male and female students from the Department of Geography for the term (2005-2006).
The researcher prepared two tools In order to achieve the study’s aims.
The first tool was a test of geographic concepts and included (30) questions of multiple choices of answers and four alternatives for each.
The validity and reliability of this test was verified.
The second tool was a scale for the motivation of learning including (32) items in (17) items are positive and (15) items are negative and the validity and reliability for this scale was verified.
After analyzing and statistically processing the data, the results showed the following : 1.
The level of comprehension of the geography department students of the geographic concepts was rated (average).
2.
The motivation of learning of the geography department students in the college of education was rated (good).
3.
Significant statistical relationship exists between the rate of comprehension and the motivation of learning.
4.
Significant differences exists between the rate of comprehension for geographic concepts and the motivation of learning for the College of Education / Department of Geography students according to the variable of grade (fist class, third class) in favor for the third class.
Stemming from these results, the researcher put a number of recommendations and suggested a complimentary study for the current study.
