Abstract EN

Setting forth the issue of illegal immigration, the study argues that the key cause of such problem is the inequity between rich and poor countries in terms of economical and social ties.

While the rich countries are rapt in enacting laws and regulations to organize the entry of foreign labor to fully exploit them, poor countries strive to provide the basic needs for survival.

This gave rise to illegal immigration whose rates has alarmingly increased defying all rules and regulations.

The study is narrowed down to 5 key cores; the first of which sets illegal immigration definition and concept besides the related terms.

The second deals with theories that explain illegal immigration and related previous literature.

The third however, strikes solution for the problem from a social analytical perspective.

The fourth enumerates the security problems incurred by illegal immigration with a special focus on those encountered by immigrants who succeed in infiltrating the borders of the country to which they want to immigrate.

Finally, the fifth one puts forth the ways and techniques to be adopted in curtailing such phenomenon, and future visions.
