Abstract EN

The study aims at shedding the spotlight on the International Criminal Court (ICC), and drawing an analogy between it and the International Court of Justice (ICJ).

Moreover the study examines the judicial practices of the ICC during the last period with a view to determining whether its political practices affect its legal role in facing crimes against humanity.

The study summed up with that the ICC practice of its legal activity engendered political impacts on a host of countries.

In its recommendations, the study stressed the paramount importance of a thorough examination of the international standards that determine legal jurisdictions as per international agreements in order to revive the role of the ICC as a crucial legal instrument in the international community.
