Abstract EN

Discussing the grounds of Islamic Policies towards crime prevention, the research sets forth key questions which are: what are those grounds? , what is crime prevention, and are those policies comprehensive? Policy means bases or grounds on which things can be properly implemented and as per Islamic Jurisprudence (Fiqh), Policy is three types: Rational which is exercised by wise people and dignitaries of the state, divine one decreed by God and tyrannical imposed by a tyrant king.

However, Islamic Jurisprudence (Fiqh) strongly rejects such tyrannical ways.

Prevention means protection and taking all precautionary measures to hem in a potential danger before it occurs.

It is thus a way to overcome all conditions that may conduce to criminal and delinquent behaviors.

Grounds of Islamic Policies are designed to politically prevent crime be means of the Islamic Jurisprudence, and divine rules which link whys and wherefores and stress the paramount importance of means and man who has the right to lead a safe life under the umbrella of a stable political regime that tallies with the set of norms and beliefs he believes in and protects (homage).

Obliged by this homage, people pledge their allegiance and strive to maintain this bond and not secede from it in order to prevent terrible repercussions such as blood shedding, ripping money and spoiling minds.

This can only be avoidable should the Islamic policies toughen the penalty of those who stray from society and political system in an attempt to render the society crime free.
