Unquestioningly, International Community is currently witnessing a stupendous tide of changes; or what is termed as Globalization.

Raising the issue of IT Crimes comes in light of the emergence of a host of ideological and technological developments aimed at making the world a small village.

However, the progress witnessed today in IT field has engendered a host of modem serious crimes which poses danger to law enforcement because of their international nature.

Therefore, this study is intended to probe and figure out the various forms of one of these modem crimes which is IT crimes.

The study defines IT Crimes and determines measures should be taken in investigation in addition to retaining devices used in the crime.

Stomaching the subject from the hypothesis of efficiency of techniques used in combating IT Crimes, the study has adopted the analytical applied approach and tackled the issue via a number of key cores.

Such cores are the various dimensions of IT Crimes, their features, characteristics and risks in addition to the techniques of investigation.

Treatise arrives at the conclusion that combating efforts are infested with problems that defy solutions at least in the present time, and that attention should be directed to IT and internet misuse in an attempt to combat it.

In its epilogue, the treatise recommends that UAE legislations have to introduce some procedural amendments regarding IT Crimes since old penal articles can no longer be applicable.

Besides, researcher urges that jurisprudence and judiciary should try to lay down an interpretation for the penal articles associated such crimes.
