An experiment was conducted during the growing seasons of 2011 / 2012 and 2012 / 2013 in private orchard at Abu Al- Khaseeb district, Basrah to study the effect of spraying with potassium, liquid humate, number of spraying and their interactions on growth and seeds yield of Indian mustard plant.

The study Included 18 factorial treatments, which were the combinations of three potassium concentrations 0, 1.5 and 3.0 mg.l.-1, three liquid humate concentrations 0, 35 or 70 mg.l.-1 and two spraying number one spray or two sprays.

Complete Randomized Block Design in a factorial experiment was used with three replicates.

Treatment means were compared according to the Least Significant Difference (LSD) at 0.05 level.

Results may be summarized as follows :- Plants sprayed with potassium at 3.0 mg l-1 had a significantly higher vegetative growth parameters(plant height, number of lateral branches.
